About First Baptist Church Carthage
Our History
Our church has been on the Carthage, Illinois square since 1859. Our beautiful sanctuary was built in 1910, We added a gym/fellowship area in 1990 which has been used for hundreds of basketball games, volleyball and dinners and contains our classrooms and our offices . Our worship service is every Sunday at 10:15 a.m. We are blessed with wonderful music and spiritual teaching in a casual environment.
We firmly stand on the truth of the Word of God and our Savior Jesus Christ.
